hair pomade

I am loving my hair pomade. It is making my hair shiny and soft.  The oils are just soaking into my hair . I think my next project will be a shampoo bar.  I am still looking for recipes for a bar and the ingredients to use. will keep you up dated on my search.
I can see how making your own products can get addicting.  Wish me luck

homemade hair pomade/oil

I created my first hair care product. It is more of a solid oil. I must say I really like it. I put a little in my hand and it melts and rubs in beautifully, my hair is soft and it is soaking up the oil. 
I did not use the exact ingredients listed as I did not have them all so I made a few substitutions. I think I made good choices.
Next I want to make replacement fragrances for wallflowers.  Will keep you posted.

I think I will be a mad scientist today, have a box of ingredients sitting at home waiting for me. I see now I will have to set an area in my work room to house all my ingredient together, at this time I have things stashed all over the house.

I love skin care and cosmetics so i am starting to learn to make them myself. In this way i can save money and know what is put in each product. Since I am a black female I want to start with hair care first. wish me luck.
